You’ve never seen a child so incredibly happy to get out and play in the snow. She would have spent the whole day outside if we had let her!

So many people in Florida wanted to see Juliette, I figured I would post some Flip videos we took this moring while waking up and reading the paper. (Momma, click on the white arrow in the middle of each picture to start the video playing.)

Taken last night at grandma Monday’s house … Ain’t she cute?

It’s a rare thing to get a really great photo of Harald without him mugging for the camera, so this picture is a double delight. These pictures were taken the Friday before Halloween by one of Harald’s co-workers at a “sunshine committee” event the school put together for staff, a trip to Apple Jack Orchards for a hay ride. Really, for me, I can’t imagine a more perfect picture.

For those of you who haven’t been around little kids lately, Juliette is dressed as her favorite cartoon character from Nick Jr. – none other than Olivia, the piglet. She’s absolutely mesmerized by Olivia and wanted to go as her this year. We were going to dress her as Amy Winehouse, but then she up and died on us, and using that costume suddenly became way too tacky.

You mayknow them as raspberries – but to J they are fingerberries because, of course, you put them on the end of your finger to eat them!

June 2011 Trip to Florida

I was lucky enough to see two beautiful things tonight when we took Beaulah out after dinner. Pictures of both lovelies are below. The first one is a peony called Coral Seas. You know the second one.

I know it has been a long, long time since I have posted. I’ve been very busy at work over the last two months with our new CIO arriving and all of my new responsibilities. No longer can I just sit quietly in my own little office doing my own work. But it’s all good, really it is. It’s just that by the time I get home most nights and get dinner made and the kitchen cleaned and spend a little time with Juliette before getting her ready for bed, well I’m just all tuckered out and my git up and go has got up and went. So without further ado, I bring you photos of one of Easter’s loveliest little girls. She made her mind up real quick like that she wasn’t a bit interested in wearing the pretty hat we got to go with her outfit, and it just wasn’t a battle we needed to fight.
